About This Role

Reporting directly to the CEO and the BOD Audit Committee, you will be responsible for the following:

Responsibilities

Prepare and present the annual internal audit plan that is aligned with AsiaNext's risk profile for approval by the Audit Committee.

Develop and maintain the Internal Audit Procedures in line with Global Internal Audit Standards to ensure best practices are being adopted in the day-to-day execution of approved audit projects.

Collaborate with senior leadership to identify key risks and auditable areas and ability to manage stakeholders.

Lead and manage audits, including planning, executing, and reporting on audits to respective department heads.

Assess the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls.

Provide clear, accurate, and actionable audit reports to senior management and stakeholders, highlighting key findings and recommendations.

Evaluate compliance with company policies, procedures and regulatory requirements.

Monitor status progress of audit findings and follow-up on the remediation actions.

Stay up to date on industry trends and regulatory changes.

Identify common features or trends across audits and organisation-wide issues, proposing appropriate improvements.

Report to the Audit Committee ensuring that the directors are aware of the key audit findings and the actions being taken to resolve any areas of concern.

What are we looking for in our candidate?

1.\tMinimum 7-10 years of internal audit, risk, compliance, or external audit experience, ideally within financial services, fintech, or regulated industries.

2.\tRecognized degree in Accountancy / Business / Commerce / Finance.

3.\tAble to manage stakeholders' queries and expectations.

4.\tStrong understanding of governance, risk, internal controls, audit and compliance practices

5.\tResults-oriented with strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

6.\tExcellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.

7.\tProfessional certifications such as CIA, CPA, CA, CISA or equivalent.

8.\tAdvanced computer literacy skills - MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
