Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented IT Auditor with 5-10 years of relevant experience, preferably in the financial services sector. The successful candidate will play a key role in reviewing, assessing, and validating IT governance, security, and compliance frameworks for financial institutions in Singapore. This role requires hands-on expertise in regulatory compliance, security controls, with a focus on MAS technology risk regulations and international security standards.

Key Responsibilities

1. Basel Application Review: Conduct reviews of system related to Basel processes to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
2. MEPS+ Security Compliance: Lead and conduct independent reviews of MEPS+ (MAS Electronic Payment System Plus) Security Compliance, including assessment of controls, risk mitigation strategies, and adherence to MAS guidelines.
3. SWIFT CSCF Assessment: Perform assessments based on the SWIFT Customer Security Controls Framework (CSCF), evaluating the effectiveness of security controls and recommending improvements to meet international standards.
4. Regulatory Compliance: Evaluate IT environments against MAS-issued technology risk regulations, including the Cyber Hygiene Notice, TRM (Technology Risk Management) Notice, and TRM Guide. Provide actionable recommendations to address gaps and enhance compliance.
5. Reporting & Documentation: Prepare audit reports, document findings, and present recommendations to stakeholders and management.

Qualifications & Experience

1. Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline.
2. 5-10 years of IT audit experience, preferably in financial institutions or consulting roles focused on IT risk and compliance.
3. Demonstrated experience in Basel-related system evaluation, MEPS+ security compliance reviews, and SWIFT CSCF assessments.
4. Strong understanding of Singapore's regulatory landscape, especially MAS Cyber Hygiene Notice, TRM Notice, and TRM Guide.
5. Proven track record in conducting independent gap assessments and providing practical recommendations for IT control improvements.
6. Excellent analytical, communication, and report-writing skills.
7. Relevant certifications such as CISA, CISSP, or equivalent are advantageous.
