Vessel Accounting Executive

We are looking for a detail-oriented Vessel Accounting Executive for our client. This position will play a key role in supporting the Vessel Accounting Manager in the preparation, analysis, and reporting of vessel accounting data. He/she will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and completeness of monthly vessel accounts, including reconciliations and journal entries.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the full spectrum of vessel accounting functions.

• Perform daily accounting activities, including data entry into accounting systems,

preparation of journal vouchers, and compilation of supporting documentation related to

General Ledger (GL) and Accounts Payable (AP).

• Reconcile balance sheet accounts for assigned vessels, including master cash, bond

store, accruals, and other key accounts.

• Support the Senior Vessel Accounting Manager in preparing monthly vessel reports

and variance analyses.

• Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.

Requirement:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or professional accounting qualifications.

• Relevant experience in vessel accounting or ship management companies is highly

advantageous.

• Strong accounting knowledge with attention to detail and accuracy

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word.

• Ability to work effectively in a team-based environment and meet tight deadlines.

• Experience with ABS NS and/or Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central software

• is an advantage.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
