We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in the lighting or electrical wholesale industry and a strong understanding of inventory-based accounting practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily accounting operations including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and reconciliations;
• Prepare monthly financial reports and assist with budgeting and forecasting;
• Monitor inventory costing and support periodic stock audits;
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations and statutory filings;
• Coordinate with external auditors and regulatory bodies;
• Work closely with internal teams to support business operations.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Accounting or Finance;
• Minimum 5 years of accounting experience, preferably in wholesale or lighting/electrical industry;
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., MYOB, QuickBooks, or similar);
• Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach;
• Ability to work independently and contribute to a collaborative team.
