Roles and responsibilities:

• Maintain and update the firm's audit manual inaccordance with SSA, SSQM and HLB International Audit Manual. Evaluate new audit and accounting standards and drive timely audit methodology and templates updates.
• Oversee the integration of digital audit tools(e.g. IDEA, Datasnipper, Validate). Increase utilisation of data analyticsadoption and automation into the audit approach.
• Issue technical circulars, consultation andinterpretive guidance (e.g. email memo alerts) on audit and accounting relatedmatters to ensure consistent application.
• Research and develop the firm's technicalpublications (e.g. illustrative financial statements, quarterly financialreporting updates), templates (e.g. Audit Planning Memorandum, Salient FeaturesMemorandum) and practice aids.
• Conduct reviews of financial statements andaudit reports to ensure compliance with financial reporting requirements andauditing standards.
• Facilitate review of technical consultations tosupport audit and accounting conclusions for complex events and transactions.
• Conduct technical audit and accounting related trainings(e.g. new audit and accounting standards, FRSP, practical issues forum).
• Participate in technical audit and accounting projectsand advisory engagements on ad hoc basis.

Requirements:

• Degree in Accountancy or equivalent professionalqualifications
• 7-10 years of relevant experience in publicaccounting firm or equivalent
• Excellent understanding of accounting, auditingand regulatory requirements
• Strong interest and passion in accountingstandards and technical training
• Good project and people management skills
• Ability to work independently, be versatile andassertive
• Good verbal and written communication skills
