About the role

We are seeking a passionate recent graduate to join our dynamic team at New Ark Consulting. In this position, you will learn from the best and play a crucial part in supporting our clients' accounting needs, contributing to the overall success of our growing accounting practice.

What you'll be doing

• Perform a range of bookkeeping duties, including data entry, account reconciliation, and financial reporting
• Assist with the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Liaise with clients to gather financial information and address any queries or concerns
• Collaborate with the wider accounting team to ensure the timely and accurate completion of client work
• Stay up-to-date with changes in accounting regulations and best practices
• Provide support as needed to maintain good client relationships

Who we're looking for

• Recent graduate from university or polytechnic, with a passion in professional accounting / auditing career
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressure
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with clients and colleagues
• Fast learner and Self starter, Eager to learn and excel in whatever they do
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team to meet deadlines
