Working with a large financial institution, you will be responsible for executing IT audit functions, including the following key responsibilities:

• Conduct audits of IT infrastructure, cybersecurity frameworks, and application controls to ensure compliance with MAS regulations and internal policies.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of IT controls supporting business operations, including data integrity, access management, and system configurations.
• Review and assess technology risks across systems, networks, databases, and cloud environments.
• Prepare detailed audit plans, execute fieldwork, and document findings in accordance with internal audit methodologies.
• Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to identify control gaps and recommend remediation strategies.
• Support internal and external audits by providing technical expertise and timely responses to audit queries.
• Monitor the implementation of audit recommendations and track progress to closure.
• Provide advisory support on IT governance, SDLC processes, and emerging technologies such as AI/ML and cloud computing.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
• Min 5 years of experience in IT audit, IT risk, or cybersecurity within banking or financial services.
• Professional certifications such as CISA, CISM, or CRISC are preferred.
• Strong understanding of MAS TRM guidelines, and other relevant regulatory frameworks.
• Hands-on experience with auditing tools and platforms
• Excellent analytical, communication, and report-writing skills with the ability to explain technical issues to non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple audit assignments within tight deadlines.
