Key Responsibilities

• Manage full sets of accounts
• Handle monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing processes
• Prepare accurate financial statements and reports (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow)
• Ensure compliance with local statutory and regulatory requirements
• Liaise with auditors, tax agents, and relevant government authorities
• Lead the annual budgeting exercise and support the development of department-level budgets
• Perform monthly forecasting and variance analysis against budget and actuals
• Assist in financial planning and management reporting for business reviews
• Provide insights into cost control and financial efficiency opportunities
• Maintain and improve accounting processes and internal controls
• Ensure timely submission of GST returns and corporate tax filings
• Monitor and analyse accounting data to produce accurate financial statements
• Maintain proper documentation and ensure compliance with company policies and local financial regulations

Requirements

• Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or equivalent professional qualification (e.g. ACCA, CPA)
• Minimum 5 years of accounting experience.
• Hands-on experience with accounting software (e.g. SAP)
• Prior involvement in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis is essential
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, charts, and basic financial models)
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Familiarity with multi-currency accounting, FRS and US GAAP
• Experience with GST submissions, IRAS correspondence, and ACRA filing
• Familiarity with Singapore tax regulations (e.g., GST, Corporate Income Tax)
• Able to work independently and meet tight deadlines
