Job Requirements:
1. General Ledger Management
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts monthly.
- Post journal entries for accruals, prepayments, depreciation, and other adjustments.
- Ensure the chart of accounts is consistently and accurately used.
2. Financial Reporting
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (balance sheet, income statement, cash flow).
- Assist in producing management reports including budget vs. actual variance analysis.
- Generate custom financial reports for internal stakeholders and external parties.
3. Accounts Payable (AP)
- Develop and maintain loan amortization schedules and prepare regular reports on loan performance.
- Process vendor and dealer invoices, including commissions and ensure timely payments.
- Resolve discrepancies and maintain vendor relationships.
- Track expenses and review for compliance with internal policies.
4. Banking & Reconciliations
- Perform checking on bank reconciliations against collection statements and resolve discrepancies.
- Record bank transactions and reconcile statements.
5. Audit & Internal Controls
- Support internal and external audits by providing documentation and analysis.
- Help improve internal controls and implement best practices.
- Maintain proper documentation for all accounting transactions.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, or Finance, or professional certification (e.g ACCA, CPA).
- 2-6 years relevant working experience.
- Strong working knowledge in core accounting principles that adheres to International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
- Proficient in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, Macro) and ERP systems.
- Excellent analytical skills with strong attention to detail.
