Responsibilities:

• Handle full spectrum of Accounts Receivable and Payable with accuracy and timeliness.
• Process invoices, payments, and receipts while reconciling accounts and resolving discrepancies efficiently.
• Process monthly claims submitted by employees in accordance to company’s policies
• Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes for accurate financial reporting.
• Assist in custom clearance for import from overseas
• Prepare required schedules and reports for yearly audit and tax purpose
• Assist in annual budget and projections exercise
• Assist in statutory and tax compliance (SST, E-Invoice, IFRS etc.)
• Ensure adherence to company policies and financial regulations
• Work closely with internal teams to ensure seamless financial operations and workflows.
• Coordinate with external auditors, tax agents, bankers or regulatory authorities and any others as required
• Liaise with Finance Department (SG HQ) to manage finance/account matters.
• Assist in any ad hoc task and reporting, if required

Requirements:

• Diploma in Finance/Accountancy/LCCI or equivalent
• At least 3 years of working experience in Finance/Account role
• Relevant work experience in Construction industry preferred
• Required languages: Bahasa Malaysia, English
• Knowledge of financial reporting standards, tax regulations and industry legislation
• Committed, analytical, self-motivated and able to work independently
• Meticulous, able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• A team player with high degree of honesty and integrity
