Infrastructure System Analyst

 

Work Location: Downtown core, Singapore

Job Type: 1 Year Contract, subject to renewal

 

About the Role:

As a System Analyst on our security infrastructure team, you will ensure that our Windows environments remain secure, compliant, and optimized. You’ll take ownership of end-to-end server hardening and configuration management—scanning server estates for drift, applying Microsoft’s recommended security baselines, and validating adherence to both Microsoft and Sands standards. You’ll design, implement and maintain Active Directory Group Policy baselines following a strict least-privilege model, troubleshoot and resolve OS-level issues with minimal disruption to business operations, and partner closely with Microsoft engineers, enterprise architects, IT operations teams, and project managers to deliver robust, integrated solutions. Throughout, you’ll uphold our established change-management processes to keep our systems safe, stable, and compliant.

 

Primary Responsibilities:

• Perform scanning of servers, conduct data analysis to identify configuration discrepancies across server groups.
• Apply Microsoft-recommended security configurations on servers based on scan reports.
• Ensure compliance with Microsoft security baseline and Sands standards.
• Develop and maintain Active Directory baseline Group Policy Objects (GPOs) and follow least privilege model for AD tiering including User Rights Assignments, Restricted Groups, and Windows Firewall rules.
• Perform Windows OS hardening, troubleshooting any configuration issues and ensuring minimal impact to business operations.
• To collaborate with:
• Microsoft engineers - for technical guidance and issue resolution.
• Enterprise architects - for design governance and validation.
• IT operations teams - to ensure smooth deployment and integration.
• Project Manager - who will act as the liaison with application owners / business stakeholders to coordinate scheduling of activities.
• To adhere to established change manage.
• Any other tasks and works as and when requested and assigned by the Company.

 

Job Requirements:

• Diploma or degree in computer science, computer engineering, information technology, computer security, or equivalent experience.
• 3 years of experience in Microsoft Active Directory, including OU structure, access control, and domain policies.
• In-depth expertise in Group Policy configuration and security hardening techniques.
• Experience implementing Windows OS-level security controls: User Rights Assignments, Restricted Groups, and Firewall policies.
• Familiarity with native Windows security groups, permissions, and local policies.
• Ability to perform data analysis and configuration comparisons across servers.
• Is experienced with:
• Microsoft Enterprise Secure Access Model [AD Tiering Model].
• Credential Guard.
• Various security standards CIS, NIST etc.
• Working knowledge of TCP/IP networking in Windows environments.
• Proven experience in troubleshooting security and configuration issues at the OS level.
• Excellent team collaboration skills, with the ability to coordinate work across multiple technical teams and under a project management structure.
• Required to undergo Casino Regulatory Authority (CRA) checks.
