Mission of the Position
The mission for this role is primarily to establish Aureus Music Academy’s tone of voice as well as to oversee and execute on copywriting for all outgoing collaterals.
The Copywriter (Brand & Marketing) will be responsible for defining, gatekeeping and being the first line of defence in how Aureus Music Academy talks about itself.
The role requires a highly self-motivated individual who can operate in a fast-paced environment, has strong thought leadership, is a problem solver and believes in always chasing opportunities.
What are the Key Accountabilities?
Brand Voice and Identity
- Develop and execute on a brand voice for Aureus Group’s brand across multiple platforms such social media, website, events, roadshows and collaterals in centres establishing a strong, memorable personality.
Day to Day Copywriting and Proof Reading
- Establish a consistent and high standard of outgoing copy communications company wide.
Make Complex Information Simple to Understand
- Process requests involving detailed and complex information across departments into simple communications.
- Lead the charge with the creative and marketing teams to structure communications into attractive and easy to digest content.
Key Responsibilities
Copywriting Strategy and Execution:
- Develop and grow the company’s tone of voice in line with company growth and business requirements.
- Create and communicate brand guidelines
- Be responsible for all day-to-day internal and external copywriting and proof reading.
Collaboration with Key Stakeholders:
- Collaborate with the creative team to produce high impact, attractive and easy to understand content.
- Support a full funnel marketing team covering, web, digital, events, roadshows and social media with copywriting.
Product Copy Creation:
- Translate on paper product specifications and features into elaborate messages and selling points.
Key Criteria/Requirements
- Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in english, communications, journalism, marketing or related fields with at least 3 to 5 years of progressive experience in copywriting, B2C focused, highly creative or story-driven industries welcome.
- Creativity and Content Creation: Proven ability to think creatively and out of the box, with a strong portfolio showcasing innovative content ideas that drive business outcomes. Experience in both digital and offline asset creation essential.
- Skills and Attributes: A self-starter with strong attention to detail, capable of thriving in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.
