Business Analyst

 

Work Location: Downtown core, Singapore

Job Type: 2 Years Contract, subject to renewal

 

About the Role:

We are seeking a Business Analyst to collaborate with business subject matter experts and technology teams in identifying, prioritizing, documenting, and managing business requirements for hotel and casino operations.

 

Primary Responsibilities:

• Leading and facilitating requirements gathering workshops and discussions with audiences of all levels.
• Reviewing, analyzing and creating detailed documentation of business systems and user needs, including workflow.
• Demonstrating the ability to break down requirements and user stories, identify functional and non-functional requirements, and prepare documentation and additional planning tasks to ensure that these requirements are met.
• Delivering on assigned project tasks as required to time, cost, and quality constraints.
• Facilitating estimation sessions and supporting QA processes.
• Analyze the feasibility and impact of a proposed solution across infrastructure, application development, and business areas.
• Clearly map solution components/features to business requirements via traceability matrix throughout the SDLC.
• Duties are to be performed in accordance with departmental and Company's policies, practices and procedures.
• Any other tasks and works as and when requested and assigned by the Company.

 

Job Requirements:

 

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, information technology, computer security, or equivalent experience.
• 3 years of experience in process mapping and business requirements.
• Experience working with collaboration tools such as Microsoft SharePoint and Microsoft Teams.
• Familiarity with IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL) processes, policies and procedures.
• Hands-on experience in process mapping, business requirements analysis and documentation, data mapping.
• Knowledge of software development process methodologies like RUP and / or Agile, and use case modelling.
• Ability to work independently and to effectively manage and execute multiple initiatives concurrently.
• Good interpersonal, oral and written communication skills including ability to clearly communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences, both written and verbally.
• Knowledge and understanding of the Hospitality, Leisure or Entertainment industry.
