Job Description:

• Maintain consistent standards of care
  • Provide administrative and technical support for the management and operation of the Laboratory Information System (LIS) and other related systems.
  • Assist Laboratory staff with issues related to LIS and other related systems.
  • Coordinate with other LIS officers on cross-institutional systems related matters.
  • Perform laboratory tests on analysers that are interfaced to LIS according to Operation Guidelines (OPG).
  • Perform appropriate QC/ calibration and troubleshoot QC/ calibration failure.
  • Perform basic troubleshooting of analyser/ equipment malfunction and interface problems.
• Maintain and manage workload
  • Perform laboratory tests and report results within turn-around time (TAT).
  • Update external laboratory results into LIS.
• Assist in clinical practice improvement of quality improvement activities/projects

Job Requirements:

• Minimum Degree or equivalent
