Job Description


  • Responsible for retail shop merchandize and wine program including selecting, ordering, inventory, organizing and selling
  • Manage stock level to ensure optimal stock par level through analysis of sales figures, trends and forecasting future sales
  • Initiate and organize special promotions, events, clearance sales
  • Work closely with Cost Controller to formulate pricing policies and store requisitions
  • Co-ordinate with Purchasing Manager to source and recommend merchandize, food products, new wine inventory
  • Plan outlet manning strength, conduct staff interviews and selection, scheduling, annual performance appraisal, training and development
  • Review and complete monthly financial reports and recommend or implement action plans to ensure that budgeted financial objectives are met


  • Diploma in Hospitality Management or above
  • Preferable with at least WSET Level 2 qualification
  • 5 years of retail operations experience in a managerial capacity
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Good written and oral command of English
  • Service oriented with strong interpersonal skills
  • A good team player, mature and self-driven
  • Able to work 5-day work week with rotating shifts, holidays and weekends
