Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Division Head of Custody and Investment Operations Centre, this person will have responsibility as Head of Custody Operations to run the daily operations for settlement and corporate action and provide leadership to the processing teams in their support to the business partners and customers with focus on efficiency in turnaround and servicing standards. 

He/she is expected to: 

- Work closely with the Division Head on the management of Custody Operations and provision of operational support to the business and customers
- Plan and manage the teams' operational activities and deliverables and review and improve operational and system processes
- Manage operations in strict compliance with internal controls and various legislation, regulations and bank policies and pro-active risk and incident management
- Maintain a positive working relationship with the business partners and customers and drive the servicing standard for the division
- Work closely with the internal teams on operational and business initiatives and operational and system projects impacting the division
- Lead, develop and train the teams to raise their performance and service standards and knowledge

  • A minimum of 10 years’ experience in managing a securities operations team dealing with global securities products
  • In-depth knowledge of local and global securities markets products and operations
  • Well versed with relevant legislation and regulations in custody operations
  • Conversant with post-trade infrastructure of local and overseas securities exchanges
