About the Department

The Finance and Corporate Services function manages the financial and administrative needs of the Group to help achieve its business goals.

Corporate Real Estate Services

We manage and administer matters relating to real estate on behalf of the Group. These include lease management, workplace solutions & design, facilities management, as well as security and general service matters.

Job Responsibilities
  • Service Design Lead with a strategic view on the implementation of A High Performance Workplace as well as Workplace Strategy. With the capacity to support the Business Partner and CRES on real estate strategies
  • Focused on people and human experience when designing the office space to improve engagement (and continual improvement)
  • With experience in planning and executing real estate strategies; including consolidation, expansion and contraction
  • Ability to engage and lead in stakeholder meetings and discussions when driving the change in the workplace
  • Lead, guide and challenge all external ID Consultants to ensure the successful delivery of all UOB Office fitouts
  • Always looking at opportunities to streamline processes while maintaining the best in class delivery (or fit for purpose)
  • Co-creation with our stake-holders to deliver #better Workplace ie
    • Facility Management, Technology, Human Resource
    • Security, Critical Functions, Shared Services, etc
Job Requirements
  • Prior engagement / secondment to a Banking and Financial institution will considered
  • Interior designer by training with min. 12 years’ experience in large corporate offices (Large MNC) in workplace planning and implementation, including the implementation of a High Performance Workplace
  • Challenge the norm
  • Excellent design flair and aptitude
  • Strong conceptual delivery and forward thinking
  • Ability to design spaces by emphasizing on end-user experience rather than look and feel
  • Good knowledge of a sustainable office fit-out & change sustenance
  • Green Mark / Leeds knowledge will be a plus point
  • Architectural background will be a plus point
