The Trade Corporate / FSCM Sales role focuses on originating, structuring and delivering trade and financial supply chain management solution to domestic as well as regional clients. 

The key clients are the domestic large corporate, government linked companies and multinationals which have financial supply chain agenda, requirements and/or working capital efficiency objectives generically.  We lead such discussions with clients and convert such conversations to business opportunities.   

The key performance indicators are driving and growing UOB Group’s FSCM mandates, portfolio and revenue in Singapore and across our key markets.
 
Job responsibilities:
  • Provides sales advisory to existing and prospective FSCM anchor clients to fulfill their FSCM agenda or working capital objectives.
  • Originates and generates business deals with existing and new to bank or new to product anchor clients based in Singapore and South East Asia.
  • Builds a meaningful business pipeline of FSCM opportunities and drives conversion and closure of such business opportunities efficiently.
  • Participates and supports any Group FSCM Sales initiatives conceptualization and commercialization.
  • Supports and upholds Group FSCM Product/ Program framework standard for Group.
Job requirements:
  • Holder of a University Degree from a recognized University
  • More than 5 years of transaction banking experience in sales position focusing on Trade Finance.  Past experience in FSCM is an added advantage.
  • Conversant in documentary trade and open account trade services and financing, both at the domestic and regional level.
  • Good working knowledge of working capital solutions and ability to articulate value propositions from a working capital perspective.
  • Possess working knowledge of electronic banking delivery, Host-to-Host solutions, ERP, etc.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills, with strong negotiation and problem solving skills
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English and possession of good presentation skills.
  • A highly motivated team player with strong collaborative skills and initiatives.
