Training Development Assistant (eLearning)

Job Summary

Training Development Assistant will be responsible for assisting the Training Development Manager in training content design and development, including instructor-led, virtual classroom and eLearning content development in support of training needs. Training topics includes i4.0 digital transformation, quality system, regulatory approvals and ISO certification. You will also create and maintain technical systems documentation for core systems including training materials and databases.

Job Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Work directly with management and subject matter experts to gather the learning needs, content, and schedule requirements for training development projects.
  • Design and content development of interactive eLearning content (including multimedia assets) for i4.0 and critical operational contents. Also, converting existing documentation and training materials into engaging and effective online courses.
  • Develop, conceptualise and edit storyboards to translate into interactive content.
  • Content development of materials including content creation guides, training communications, bite-sized presentations and online certification for all levels of organization.
  • Serve as one of the Learning Management System administrators and Learning Support email administrators responsible for major Univac i4.0 milestones.
  • Report status of projects to the Training Development Manager

Job Requirements & Qualifications

  • Diploma in Adult and Continuing Education, Communications, Design, Creative Multimedia, Education or equivalent.
  • A minimum of 2-3 years of training and development (eLearning) experience to include systems documentation, eLearning development, maintaining Learning Management System, standards and procedures and training manuals.
  • Highly proficient with Microsoft Office, storyline 360 (includes text-to-speech) and Adobe Suite tools.
  • Display good attention to detail and ability to manage work processes.
  • Display keen interest in adult learning principles and/or storytelling narratives.
  • Have good collaboration skills with the ability to resolve problems and a creative flair.
  • Demonstrate good verbal and written communication skills.
  • ACTA certification preferred but not required.
