Tool Maker (Mfg) - Joo Koon

Responsibilities

• Perform repair maintenance and troubleshooting of precision tooling to support production
• Ensure manufacturing stamping tools available in shortest time possible
• Develop and perform preventive maintenance on precision tooling
• Support new product qualifying and scale up
• Implement and evaluate improvement activities for precision tooling and production
• Operate manufacturing machines when is required
• Provide support in improvement activities to achieve manufacturing targets for quality, waste reduction and machine contact efficiency
• Ensure cleanliness of work area and equipment
• Back up other colleagues as and when necessary
• Carry out tasks assigned by supervisor

Requirements

• Possess at least a NTC certificate or equivalent
• Minimum 2 years relevant working experience in precision tool making industry
• Experience in factory environment, preferably with metal stamping experience
• Able to operate Surface Grinding, Profile Grinding, and Wire Cut machine
• Proficient in Microsoft Office software applications
• Able to work independently to troubleshoot and repair equipment with minimum guidance
• Able to commit shift work
