Therapy Programme Executive (North/OT/PT)

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate and working through exercises prescribed by a physiotherapist with residents
• Keep records of residents’ progression and participation
• Conduct group exercises and group activities on a day-to-day basis
• Ensure the safety of residents during their activities
• Encourage residents to participate in more than one activity
• Carry out programs/activities to improve quality of life, maintain, delay on-set of dementia
• Track status of physical well-being and dementia assessments of residents, in collaboration with other care professionals, and implement dementia ICP for each of them
• Keep accurate and up-to-date records for audit and provide feedback to supervisor on residents’ progress in the activities
• Assist Head, Therapy in training to equip staff with skills and know-how to provide better care for residents
• Do the monthly statistical report of therapy and submit to Head, Therapy
• Do the yearly budgeting of equipment and furniture to be submitted to Head, Therapy
• Report to Head, Therapy on issues regarding therapy department
• Plan and implement home activity on a day-to-day basis
• Organise competition, events, performance and other programmes within the home
• Provide support to Community Partnership during school’s VIA
• Any other duties as assigned by Management

 

Requirements

• Diploma / Bachelor Degree in Therapy (OT/PT)
• Minimum 1-3 years of relevant working experience
• Mon to Fri, 8am to 5pm, Alt Sat, 8am to 12.40pm
