Job Description

Temp HR and Admin Up to $4k @ Boon Lay – 4 to 6 months

  • $3k -$4k nego
  • 4 to 6 months Contract  *Subject to extension / renewal
  • Boon Lay (Tertiary Education)

 

Responsibilities:

  • Recruitment & Selection

Coordinate with candidates/committee to arrange campus visit/seminar/student lecture/interview for potential candidates; arrange candidates’ accommodation and plan their schedule; assist in reimbursement of candidates’ airfare and miscellaneous expenses. Coordinate, monitor and liaise with committee for hiring potential academic faculty. Work closely with committee to identify suitable academic referees.

  • Appointments/Reappointments and Staff Promotion

Work with committees to ensure procedures for review process adhere to university’s guidelines. Collate all necessary documents such as referee letters, candidates’ information, prepare Search and Chair reports for College & University’s approval within the timeline.

  • Performance Management for Faculty & MSO

Handle staff disciplinary issues and ensure fair evaluation process for staff under review. Plan & organize Performance Management activities such as overseeing performance appraisal process and performing salary reviews with ChairFacilitate staff submission of objectives/workputs to supervisors via online Performance Management System (PMS). Oversee leave management system to ensure that procedures are observed.

  • Academic Guest/Consultants

Arrange and coordinate with candidates after Chair’s approval to invite Distinguished/Academic Guest for faculty visit/stay; arrange candidates’ accommodation and apply for necessary pass from MOM; assist in reimbursement of candidates’ airfare and miscellaneous expenses.

  • Staff Training

Ensure staff submit their individual training plans for year & fulfill training hours. Monitor staff training programs to ensure training expenses are kept within budget.

  • Budget Planning

Assist Director for Finance on manpower budget for school.

  • Administration Duties

Facilitate contract extension work process for  faculty staff

Mentoring letters after PT and reappointment

Special projects relating to Human Resource and man power planning

 

Period:

  • 4 to 6 months Contract  *Subject to extension / renewal

 

 

Salary:

  • $3k -$4k nego

 


Working hours:

  • Mon to Thurs: 8.30am – 5.45pm, Fri: 8.30am – 5.15pm

 

Location:

  • Boon Lay (Tertiary Education)

 

 

Requirements:

  • Min degree in Business or HR Management
  • Good writing and analytical skills
