Technical Support Manager (Exp. in IP Telephony / Alexandra)

• Provide technical support competency to lead and guide a team to resolve technical problems promptly
• Provide support reports that meet customer’s requirement in timely manner
• Monitor and in charge of provide maintenance support from the implementation team after a project has been commissioned
• Attend to technical challenges faced by team during 24x7 support and to provide guidance to the team
• Handle documentations for operation and troubleshooting, meet training needs of customer and to ensure skillset and proficiency of engineers are up to date to ensure SLA are kept.
• Work closely with customers and vendors to review open issues and resolve the issues according to SLA

 

Job Requirements:

• Min Degree in Electrical Electronic Engineering, Telecommunication, Computer Studies, or Information System.
• At least 4-5 years of related working experience in a post­sale support in telecommunication, IP telephony or data networking industry in APAC region as a team lead or other managerial position
• Candidate with hands-on and  In­depth knowldege of telecommunication, in IP telephony, virtualization, database, Linux Operating Systems or data networking domain knowledge will be preferred
• able to lead a team and can work without close supervision
• Ability to provide clear instructions to team members and formulate strategies in problem solving
• Willing to travel in short notice
• Must be willing to commit to 24/7 standby duties
• Location: Alexandra
