Job Description

To assist Deputy Manager in administering cleaning, waste management, water quality and maintenance services at Sentosa to ensure highest degree of cleanliness and minimised pest condition is maintained at all times. Provide coaching to contract cleaners when necessary in the cleaning process to achieve consistency in the operational standard.



  • Main responsibilities encompass daily audit inspection of the cleaning and maintenance services rendered by term contractors for the buildings, beaches, attractions and common areas, water features, swimming pool maintenance and waste management
  • Supervise and follow up with cleaning term contractors for work at height and other special project cleaning in compliance with WSHA
  • Ensure the term contractors align their operation with company objectives and consistently comply with the requirements for maintaining the various services
  • Coordinate with zone managers and term contractors on cleaning and waste management services especially during signature events like Runs, Fun Fest, Zouk Out, Siloso Beach Party as well as weekly MICE/Sales events
  • Liaise closely with Island Partners in attending to their waste management, recycling and pest control issues
  • Conduct daily audit inspections in area of responsibility to ensure that operational practices, departmental policies and quality standards are conformed with and adhered to
  • Report and follow-up on all renovation repair, facilities repairs and maintenance faults in area of responsibility
  • Monitor and follow-up on compliance of cleaning procedures, workplace safety and standard layout performed by term contractors
  • Leading Pest Control Team in performing scheduled grease trap surveillance and ad hoc sewerage maintenance works to ensure well being of the sewerage system for Sentosa
  • Monitor, inspect the route/site and preparation for VIP visit and events in Sentosa
  • Perform administrative duties, i.e. collects and complies all relevant data for use in reports and plans or for future reference
  • Any other duties as assigned from time to time 



  • Minimum GCE “N” Level or equivalent / ITE education in Environmental related studies or with some working experiences in cleaning services for guest fronting attractions, resorts, shopping malls etc
  • Able to communicate and write in English Language
  • Experience in contract supervision will be an advantage
  • Basic computer literacy i.e. Microsoft Words, Excel, Email etc
  • Able to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Able to interact effectively with people at all levels of the organization
  • Class 3 Driver’s License is a must
