Job Responsibilities

The role of a spa attendant is critical to the smooth running and relaxing ambience of any spa. The role is closely linked to housekeeping. As a spa attendant you should expect to carry out any of the following duties:

  • Maintain high quality of housekeeping standards of spa premise by cleaning all areas of spa including changing rooms, pantries, treatment rooms, waiting room, etc
  • Conduct regular cleaning checks of the spa to ensure facilities are tidy, in good working order, free of rubbish & obstacles, well stocked and clean. Areas includes but not limited to reception desk, retail shelves, treatment rooms, waiting rooms, changing/locker area
  • Ensure Members and/or their guests have access to ready supplies of:
    • spa towels, robes and slippers and used items are left in the correct places for laundering and freshly laundered items are always available for the next Members
    • toilet paper, soap, hand creams, etc in the changing room
    • refreshments in the waiting rooms and around reception area
  • Perform basic reception duties such as greeting of Spa users, answering of internal phone calls, issuing of locker keys, etc 
  • Assist Members and/or their guests with any queries about spa facilities and products

Job Requirements:

  • Ability to speak simple English
  • Prior experience working in housekeeping or cleaning services would be highly desirable as would previous experience in looking after leisure club services such as a gym
  • Good physical fitness, stamina and energy level
  • Friendly, highly personable, well presented and have high standards of cleanliness
  • 3-day work week with rotating shifts between 8:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m.
  • Able to work weekends and public holidays
