Job Description

Wine Connection is seeking experienced and enthusiastic individuals to join our team. As Sous Chef, the ideal candidate/candidates should possess some or all of the following. Successful applicants can expect a highly attractive renumeration and benefits package 

 

 

Job Responsibilities

 

➤ Oversees the overall operational activities of the kitchen

➤ Maintains high standard of food production

➤ Responsible for hygiene and sanitation of respective outlet

➤ Checks food preparation, quality and quantity

➤ Plan orders of equipment or ingredients according to shortages

➤ Ensure all operational activities adhere to relevant health and safety regulations and licensing conditions

➤ Maintain a positive and professional approach with co-workers and customers

➤ Supervises and monitors portion respective stations, operating equipment and perishables.

➤ Other ad-hoc duties as assigned by Head Chef, Executive Chef or F&B Ops Manager

 

 

Job Requirements

 

➤ Similar experience within the industry

➤ Leadership and management skills

➤ Creative in food preparation, presentation

➤ Knows local market trends

➤ Able to set up measurement controls related to quality, preparation and presentation for consistent delivery

➤ Able to apply hygiene & sanitation standards

➤ At least 3 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.

➤ Preferably Senior Executives specializing in Food/Beverage/Restaurant Service or equivalent.
