Job Description

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support Restaurants’ Social Media accounts and activities
    • Key support for all social media accounts’ administration and be the Social Media team’s day-to-day contact for assigned Celebrity Chef and Signature Restaurants
    • Liaise and work closely with restaurants’ operations teams to ensure seamless operations during social media activities and efforts
    • Maintain existing standard operating procedures for managing the social media accounts

  • Content creation and development
    • Liaise and work closely with various departments, such as marketing, communications and the wider F&B team to create compelling content to be shared with the social media audience
    • Take pictures of food and beverage for population of organic content on editorial calendars
    • Identify user-generated stories to share and episodic days to leverage
    • Prepare content/editorial calendars that are in line with Marketing & Communications
    • Create and develop fun and engaging videos with the help of online tools to best communicate the various restaurants’ offerings as well as the restaurants identity

  • Engaging and responding to communities
    • Monitor and respond to conversations across all social media channels (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, TripAdvisor), including customer service recovery
    • Collate Tripadvisor reviews and provide weekly reports to restaurants
    • Identify and correspond with KOLs for events and new menu tastings
    • Provide monitoring support after office hours 6pm-12 am weekdays and throughout weekends on rotational basis with the team
    • Champion internal communication channels to keep Team Members up to date with F&B news

  • Event/Post-event support
    • Provide ‘live’ coverage for events (example restaurant opening parties/events)  while monitoring and responding to social chatter
    • Work with social media analyst to create post-event campaign reports

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Candidate should possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, PR, Marketing, Hospitality or another related field.
  • Has at least 2 years of working experience in a related field such as F&B/Operations/Marketing in Tourism or any hospitality-related environment
  • User knowledge of all popular Social Media platforms and tools
  • User knowledge of photographic equipment
  • Proficiency in MS Office Applications (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
  • Excellent command of English, and one other language is a plus
