Job Description

You will be part of the team running the day-to-day operations of the dormitories under our client's purview. These dormitories are set up to support foreign workers who need to be re-located to a temporary accommodation in light of the current Covid-19 situation. You will be involved in providing general administration, logistical and accommodation support to ensure the smooth running of the dormitories.

Your key responsibilities include:

  • Assisting the operations supervisors/manager on the daily work tasks assigned
  • Providing logistical and administration support, including transporting logistics to the locations
  • Performing routine inspection in the dormitory compound
  • Ensuring order and regulates peak hour crowd at different access control points
  • Maintaining a record of the entry and exit time of all occupants in and out of the dormitory premises each day, including a self-declaration by exiting occupants
  • Ensuring the dormitory compounds and accommodation rooms are clean and well-maintained at all times
  • Assisting in the implementation and enforcement of security and safe distancing measures to safeguard the well-being of the occupants
  • Attending to occupants’ enquiries and feedback, and escalating them to the dormitory management team where necessary
  • Managing occupants during the circuit breaker period and those serving quarantine orders
  • Ensuring twice daily temperature taking of all occupants and keeping proper records of it
  • Proper management of unwell occupants
  • Logging and reporting any technical issues or maintenance needs to the dormitory management team

  You should possess the following:

  • Able to handle physical and logistical tasks such as carrying of supplies
  • Willing to work on shifts and weekends
  • A valid Class 3 and a Bus Driving Vocational License (BDVL) as you will be required to drive the agency’s transport e.g. van.
  • A team player with empathy, and a service-oriented mindset
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Familiar with use of Microsoft Office
  • Advantageous if you have prior experience in frontline services and/or operations

Contract duration : 6 to 9 months
