Job Description

  • Plan and carry out installation and commissioning of process automation equipment at customers' place including conducting risk assessment, dismantling and/or assembling the equipment and putting it through functional tests with the designer

  • Perform diagnostic tests to monitor machine performance and conduct maintenance and modifications for equipment including cleaning and lubrication, parts replacements and upgrading of equipment hardware and software

  • Provide services to customers to troubleshoot, assess damages, repair and service the equipment and conduct equipment overhaul.

  • Assist the leader to carry out and participate in projects, meetings and discussions to improve equipment quality and address customers' issues

  • Conduct training to customers to ensure that their operational staff are adequately trained and informed in the operation and maintenance of our equipment.

  • Carry out regular customers' visits to provide an analysis on the equipment' quality performance and advise on further quality enhancements

  • Coordinate with customers to carry out quality enhancement modifications and preventive countermeasures on equipment

  • Maintain a database of technical information on equipment and solutions along with the latest updates obtained from head office

Job Requirements

  • Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics or Mechatronics
  • Knowledge on Surface Mount or Fine Device technology and processes is preferred
  • Able to travel overseas frequently and on short notice upon request

  • Possess strong analytical skills
