Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Report to the supervisor of the section
  • Wipe tables and seats with dampened cloths and ensure that tables are properly set, ready for next guests
  • Stock side-stations with condiments, plates and menus etc as necessary
  • Help to greet and sit guests when necessary
  • Present and explain menu to guests
  • Check guests’ identification to ensure that they are above 18 years of age for consumption of alcoholic beverages
  • Know your special and ‘86’ items of the day
  • Prepare and serve beverages
  • Prepare and set utensils and condiments as necessary
  • Clear empty plates and glasses from the tables and carry dirty dishes to kitchen
  • Empty and set ash trays on tables in smoking section
  • Ensure that your section are well taken care of before helping others
  • Assist in  minor repairs and maintenance of restaurant
  • Ensure that all staff obey by the rules and regulation for lockers’ usage and report any misuse to supervisor
  • Help to verify and check keys press
  • Assist in discrepancy and stock taking
  • Ensure merchandise counter is clean and tidy
  • Ensure merchandises are nicely displayed
  • Ensure supplies such as paper bags are adequate for operation

 

Requirement:

  • Candidate must possess at least a Primary/Secondary School/"O" Level, Professional Certificate/NiTEC, Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, any field.
  • At least 1 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
  • Preferably Junior Executives specializing in Food/Beverage/Restaurant Service, Purchasing/Inventory/Material & Warehouse Management or equivalent.
