About the Department

The Retail function provides Personal and Business Banking customers with financial solutions tailored to their needs. We help them manage their money wisely and meet their financial goals through an extensive range of products and services. These include deposit, insurance, secured and unsecured loans, investment and wealth advisory services.

Business Banking

We develop integrated products and services targeted at helping small and medium-sized enterprises across the region progress through different stages of growth. These include innovative solutions and initiatives in areas of working capital loans, operational efficiency and currency exposure.

Job Responsibilities

As Head of Bancassurance within Group Business Banking you will develop and drive a holistic Banca strategy across the region. You will also identify and develop Digital technologies to create a Banca Digital platform and drive Banca partner relationships to package product mix for use across the region.

You shall own the development of Sales Model for BB Banca countries as well as drive the overall sales strategy with direct responsibility for the achievement of sales performance and  sales governance. In addition, you will review regional countries’ product needs and partner local GBU teams, BB Banca team to address any potential issues with regards to regulatory actions or sales franchise from development to implementation.

Reporting to the Group Head of Business Banking, you will work closely with countries’ Business Banking Heads, Banca Sales Head and Product Head on product development as well as operational issues to meet needs of customers both via conventional and digital platforms. You will also work to embed SME digital banca solutions to support the needs of SMEs’ ecosystem.

Job Requirements

Job Requirements

  • 15 years of relevant industry experience preferably with strong background in business management & product development in financial services, preferably in the area of SME.  
  • Experience in managing and operating partnerships with knowledge and proficiency in building product propositions
  • Preference in having built and managed digital, direct sales business model
  • Experience in developing and driving digital agendas in the Bancassurance space

  • Demonstrated negotiation and decision-making capabilities
  • Strategic thinker with strong project management capabilities
  • Ability to work across internal and external stakeholders and multiple geographies
