The Job

You will be responsible for :

• Managing the application designs and following-up with developers
• Studying, evaluating and providing feedback on functional specifications
• Providing detailed estimation for development of solutions
• Taking care of the technical documentations, quality and standards
• Supervising and contributing to the non-functional testing
• Performing design and code review for other team members, motivating the team with best development practices
• Mentoring junior team members
• Preparing documentation for design and implementation
• Performing Level 3 Support of applications in production and resolving issues as they arise

The Profile

• You have a Bachelor’s Degree with at least 8 years of relevant experience in web and stand-alone application design & development with Java/JEE technologies in Unix/Linux environment
• You have excellent understanding on relational database systems and Hibernate, Spring Framework (Spring Data, Spring Boot), micro services architecture, event sourcing and CQRS.
• You have work experience on JavaScript technologies such as Angular and Unix scripting, ASP.net, MS SQL and JQuery as well as Docker and Kubernetes or Swarm.
• You have experience with DevOps implementation and their related tools: Git, Jenkins, Nexus, Maven, Gradle, JMS, WebSphere MQ, Rabitt MQ or Apache Kafka
• You have strong experience on system design, development, testing and deployment.
• You possess the ability to assess interdependence and impact of a change at application level
• You have general knowledge in banking and finance, as well as estimation technique
• You have an understanding of SDLC, with experience on at least one methodology (Agile, XP, RUP,..) and practical experience with UML
• You are willing to work on new topics and to collectively propose innovative solutions
• You have an understanding and respect of cultural diversity
• You are committed and proactive, with strong analytical skills
• You have strong written and verbal communication skills, and are able to interact with a diverse team.
