Job Description

Job Summary:

In this role you will be a part of the Asia Pacific talent acquisition team partnering the HR Managers and/or hiring managers in managing the end-to-end recruitment cycle for all professional level positions in the assigned client group or geographical region to bring on best talents to West. As a subject matter expert, you will also provide expertise advice, support and analytical data on talent acquisition to the respective HR Managers.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with respective HR Managers to close all openings through the most cost and time effective methods
  • Subject matter expert for talent acquisition
    • Provide guidance and expertise advice on best practices in sourcing strategy, selection and evaluation techniques and decision making to stakeholders
    • In collaboration with Communications team, drive a consistent employer branding and positive candidate experience for West
    • Provide talent acquisition related data and analytical support as needed to HR Managers
  • Ensure compliance in talent acquisition related processes
    • Owner of the talent acquisition process and ATS for assigned client group; review and ensure data accuracy on ATS
    • Ensure all documentation received are completed and in accordance with the global/local policies
  • Reporting / Analytics / Projects
    • Provide relevant recruitment statistics as needed
  • Other duties as assigned

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Business or related fields
  • 5 – 8 years of end-to-end recruiting experience in an MNC environment. Min. 3 years for Recruiter level.
  • Prior experience in recruiting for pharmaceutical, medical device and/or healthcare related industries will be highly advantageous but not mandatory


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Language - Strong written and verbal proficiency in English
  • Legal – Familiar with local legislation and tripartite guidelines related to the talent acquisition process
  • Stakeholder Management – ability to effectively prioritize and manage both internal and external stakeholders and candidates
  • Drive for Results/Closure – strong follow up skills with a healthy sense of urgency to close positions in the most effective manner
  • Resilience and Prioritizing - has an open mind and flexibility to adapt and refine approaches to thrive in an environment with numerous stakeholders
  • Technology Savvy – strong computer skills in Microsoft Office applications, ATS and technology/portals commonly used for recruiting
  • Creativity – Ability to think-out-of-the-box and beyond the usual channels/tactics to compete for talents in the market
  • Able and is aware of all relevant SOPs as per Company policy and as they are related to the position covered by this Job Description
  • Support and contribute in Lean Six Sigma programs and activities towards delivery of the set target
  • Able to comply with the company’s safety policy at all times
  • Able to comply with the company’s quality policy at all times.
