Job Description

The purpose of this position is to maintain and support quality MRO repair to our Customer. The incumbent needs to work to incorporate planning, maintaining of inspection plan to ensure process for completeness, accuracy and compliance to both internal and customer quality management. Usually work under direction of QA Manager.

Job Responsibilities
Deliver quality MRO support services including but not limited to the followings:
  • Promoting quality achievement and performance improvement throughout the organization
  • Ensure QA compliance objectives and targets are achieved
  • Perform, in-process, first article, and final assembly inspections according to existing ATP and if need, enhance and create new ATP / ATR for MRO repair
  • Maintaining controls and documentation procedures
  • Monitoring performance by gathering relevant data and producing statistical reports
  • Initiate and complete all quality and inspection related records and documents with minimal supervision
  • Liaising with customers' auditors and ensuring the execution of corrective action and compliance with customers' specifications
  • Assigning and directing work to junior engineers and technicians in order to run daily operations, resolving issues arising, meeting turn-around-times, contractual KPIs as well as productivity and process initiatives

Job Requirements
  • Bachelor in Engineering or relevant field or Diploma with 2+ years of experience as a Quality engineer or equivalent
  • Knowledge of various quality ISO or Military standards
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting the requirements of technical drawings
  • Ability to make sound determination(s) of the appropriate inspection method/equipment, that will be used for parts acceptance
  • Excellent verbal and written skills
  • Proficient in MS Word & Excel
  • Good interpersonal & communication skills.
  • Ability to present ideas, approach and objectives clearly.
  • Work under pressure, independent and self-motivated.
  • The ability to be a good listener, and to really understand a customer problem or question and help them solve it.
