Job Description

Functional area: T&O Retail
Employment type: Full-time
Job Type: Permanent

Responsibilities:
  • Processing of cheques for clearing, checking of cheques for acceptability, data entries and verification.
  • Verification of inward cheques
  • Manage IBG clearing and related operations
  • Processing of GIRO applications, customer and account data maintenance, etc
  • Handling of enquiries/escalation from Branch, BU and Call Centre
  • Handling of exceptions including calling of customers
Requirements:
  • Degree/Diploma holder
  • Preferably with at least 2-5years experience in branch banking or backoffice operations (particularly in cheque and GIRO clearing operations, GIRO application processing)
  • Good with numbers, fast and accurate with processing & data entry
  • PC literate
  • Pleasant with good communication skills
  • Self-motivated team player, able to work with large number of people
