JOB SCOPE

Summary of Job Responsibilities

The primary responsibility of the Senior Manager, Solutions Engineering include leading the implementation of solution design documents provided by the Enterprise Architecture group, understanding detailed technical requirements and reference architectures, complex data analysis and research, and providing installation and support documents, test scripts, and reporting solutions as needed, across the globe.

This role requires strong partnership with local property IT resources to implement strategic technologies and timely resolution across all business units. There will be strong focus in the areas of Identity Access Management, Microsoft O365, Business Intelligence, process management and automation, data classification, archiving & retention, etc.

Job Responsibilities

  • Partner with property IT and 3rd party resources on solutions deployment, consult on implementation, and manage program design and implementation of enterprise level programs including, but not limited to: Office 365, Single Sign-On, ADFS, SailPoint, TIBCO Spotfire, SCCM/Ivanti, and Horizon VDI
  • Collaborate with enterprise architects, application developers, consultants and vendors to analyze business requirements, business specific scenarios, best practices, and then document and define processes that meet the business needs of the enterprise and are aligned and consistent with enterprise IT strategies.
  • Manage service/support needs with vendors, application support teams, and global internal teams through effective partnership, collaboration and communication
  • Join forces with the broader IT security, risk and compliance organization to interpret policies and standards, ensuring policies and standards are properly followed by new and existing solutions
  • Maintain and define configuration as well as reporting standards
  • Makes recommendations regarding policies, standards and guidelines
  • Lead automation efforts and provide visibility/accountability on adherence to established standards and KPI’s via metrics reporting
  • Collaborate with other enterprise infrastructure teams to define standards and policies relevant to best practices, compliance and regulatory requirements
  • Proactively identify gaps, risks and issues and escalate to management accordingly
  • Work with business IT owners to gather information needed for business application integration with solutions
  • Performs other related duties as assigned

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Education & Certification

  • BA/BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline is required

Experience

  • 8+ years of IT industry experience with a broad range of exposure to various technical environments and business segments
  • 10 to 12 years of relevant industry experience
  • Experience working with cross functional, and global teams
  • Experience working at/with large global companies, preferably in the gaming or hospitality industries
  • Advanced experience with project management tools such as MS Project, SharePoint, and ServiceNow

Competencies

  • Service and integration architecture design and deployment
  • Software interaction with databases such as DB2, Oracle, and MS SQL
  • Implementation and operational support for: Microsoft O365, Identity Access Management, and Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VMWare)
  • Identity strategies and application integrations including; LDAP, Kerberos, SAML Network topologies, protocols and standards
  • UML modeling techniques and Business Process Modeling Software
  • Development Lifecycle Methodologies
  • Hospitality and gaming business processes and industry constraints (e.g., compliance) TIBCO experience a plus
