Job Description

  • Provide oversight for HR services delivery, talent acquisition, engagement and business partnering
  • Lead and guide a team of HR professionals to support the departments’ manpower strategies and provide sound HR advice on manpower related challenges. 
  • Provide strategic business partnership to senior management to address key manpower challenges and ensure that business needs are met
  • Develop strategic plans to better attract, engage and retain key talents
  • Lead the execution of HR cyclical activities such as annual performance management, talent review and compensation cycle 
  • Lead and guide a team of HR professionals to deliver HR services to our employees in an efficient and effective manner, and through collaboration with HR functions and other key stakeholders
  • Plan, strategize and lead internal staff communication and engagement activities
  • Partner with hiring managers and recruiters on hiring and selection of candidates for mid-senior level positions
  • Develop strong relationship and liaise with regulatory bodies, unions and other stakeholders on employment matters
  • Regularly review internal HR plans, policies, programmes and processes to ensure that they stay relevant, up-to-date and effective in addressing organizational and employee needs, and are in compliance with local employment legislation
  • Guide, coach and develop  HR team members in their day-to-day work and in meeting established HR standards
  • May lead or support cluster-level and HQ-level projects as assigned


Requirements

  • Min Bachelor degree or equivalent with at least 12 years of working experience in human resource function covering HR Business Partnering, Talent Acquisition, HR Operations and Staff Engagement
  • Possess at least 5-6 years of experience in direct management of HR professionals and supervisory level HR staff
  • Strong working knowledge on Singapore employment laws and related legislation as well as hands-on experience in employee and union relations
  • Ability to communicate and engage all levels of employees including senior management and work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Possess strong prioritization and decision making skills
