Job Description

  • Country wide new FMCG business P&L; including:
    • Managing and executing business plans to achieve revenue, market share, profitability and other strategic objectives;
    • Assisting to establish a culture of collaboration and integration that enhances revenue and cost optimisation and supports innovation and creativity;
  • Working with the sales, marketing, and operations teams for this FMCG business; including:
    • Collaborating with existing relevant departments for support and resources to execute business plans
    • Planning and executing sales and marketing plans to achieve business objectives
    • Recruiting new employees in new, imperative functions, if required
    • Training, managing, and regularly evaluating staff performance to optimise productivity and increase sales
  • Sales projection planning, stock management and channel distribution management; including:
    • Analysing and predicting sales and trends to make informed decisions
    • Planning and executing marketing campaigns, both online and offline to create strong brand equity, interest and demand for FMCG products
    • Leveraging on data analytics to provide insights on consumer preferences and effectiveness of sales and marketing campaigns etc
    • Maintaining current knowledge of market/trends
  • Managing company partners, manufacturers, brands and products, sourcing, pricing associated with the FMCG business
  • Portfolio management, proposing new products and categories for the FMCG business in line with company objectives
  • Ensuring compliance with all legal, health, and safety guidelines
  • Assisting in growing the FMCG business and promoting good after-sales service to build brand reputable and uphold quality of products and services, including address customer complaints/feedback in a professional manner

Job Requirements

  • Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Business Management, Marketing or equivalent
  • At least 6 - 8 year(s) of working experience specialising in Marketing/Business Development in the FMCG Industry 
  • Relevant working experience in diverse markets and proven track records of achieving sales, brand building, network development and profit targets
  • Prior experience as profit centre team lead would be an added advantage
  • Good knowledge in online and offline marketing, customer engagement innovation as well as strong in management best practices
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills with exceptional organisation, strategic planning and leadership qualities
  • Familiar with data analysis, customer traffic principles and computer skills which includes retail management software
  • Collaborative partner who values teamwork, integration and willing to take appropriate risk
