Location: Woodlands (Near MRT)

Industry: Lifescience Mfg (US MNC)

Working hours: 9am to 6pm (Mon-Fri)

Salary: Up to $5,500.00

This is a Permanent Role.


  • Responsible for L2 technology support including troubleshooting of:
  • Microsoft applications
  • Windows 10
  • Network issues
  • Client platform relation problems, including PC, Printers and Peripherals
  • As part of IT Operations team, provide daily operations and support tasks, including setup of laptops/desktops or servers, supporting company events.
  • Follow established procedures to promptly respond to incident and service request, these can come in form of incoming phone calls, walk-up or web-submitted IT tickets
  • Responsible for own IT tickets but also work together as a team to ensure IT tickets are closed on time in accordance with our SLAs and KPIs
  • Proactively and reactively look for solutions to prevent problems from occurring
  • Makes recommendation for procedures and standards to improve the quality and delivery of service to business
  • Gather business requirements, scope, plan and execute by applying technology, policy and process to aid business initiatives
  • Work effectively and independently on assigned projects
  • Review/Audit processes to ensure compliance to standard processes
  • Participate/Lead in projects to improve processes and service delivery quality
  • Draft Policy/Process documents to standardize operational processes in organization
  • Able to source and manage service providers/vendors as needed
  • Oversees IT-related asset purchases and related services at the regional level
  • Ensure administrative support, asset management are maintained, traceability and tracking records are readiness for audit purposes
  • Ready to mentor, coach and lead the junior ITSM team to have the right mindset, increase the knowledge and work performance


  • Diploma/Bachelors degree in IT or IT-related discipline
  • Strong knowledge in IT Support Operation or ITIL certification
  • Strong technical skills, CCNA or MCSE certification is an advantage
  • 5 years or more working experience in Regional operations support role
  • Experience in US or European MNC environment is a plus
  • Dynamic, creative, flexibility and vibrant personality
  • Ability to think out of the box and apply creatively solutions
  • Effective interpersonal skills essential to maintain good working relationship and empathy with technical and non-technical users
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills, including ability to produce user guides, diagrams and flowchart
  • Process good presentation skills in IT and business solution
  • Confident character with strong determination to learn new things
  • Strong Initiatives to Drive Continuous Improvements
  • Strong technical knowledge and skills in systems, infrastructure, security
  • Hands-on on troubleshooting complex technical issues, installing and configuring network equipment, like:

    • Cisco Router and Switches
    • Cisco Voice
    • Windows Server
    • Linux and Netapp Storage is an advantage
  • Ability to write simple scripts for automation (eg PowerShell, DOS script and etc...)
  • Good team player mentality and ability to display leadership skills
  • Willing to travel within APAC region, as and when needed (hence, preferred SG/SPR to avoid visa issues)
