Job Description

At Marina Bay Sands, the Senior Finance Analyst (IT) supports the IT Finance Lead in managing and coordinating IT financial activities, project initiative submissions, contract management and supply chain across Information Services.

JOB SCOPE

  • Manage and support the review and analysis of the monthly profit/loss statements for MBS IT
  • Lead and coordinate in providing consolidated financial data and key performance metrics for all reporting requirements
  • Coordinate in providing accurate, timely and objective analysis of IT’s operating results and specific projects and the ability to present such analysis to Finance, Accounting, Executive Management, etc. 
  • Lead coordination on forecasting, cost/benefit analysis, rate of return analysis, equipment replacement cycles analysis, software user license counts, etc.
  • Coordinate Financial Planning and forecasting for MBS IT
  • Lead coordination and collaboration with all necessary stakeholders to consolidate all required details for annual budget submission
  • Manage the IT Requisition and Settlement (Payment) processes
  • Manage and ensures that appropriate procedures and controls are in place to attain correct and timely delivery of equipment or services requested by IT users
  • Manage requisition requests received in Service Catalog within acceptable lead times
  • Ensure that outstanding vendor payables are documented, reconciled, processed, filed and reported according to company policies
  • Provide support to IT senior management on IT finance related items
  • Lead execution of all IT Project Initiative submissions and facilitate queries raised by MBS Finance and Global IT Finance Teams
  • Manage and support IT Contracts Review Process
  • Lead coordination and ensure that the IT contracts are reviewed, raised/renewal timely
  • Manage and ensure that all Financial Related activities, contracts and supply chain matters comply with local and global regulation, Accounting policy requirements
  • Lead tracking for maintaining the integrity of the information related to status, detail and information for all the IT Contracts

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • 6 – 8 Years proven Industry experience in defining budgets, financial planning, preparing accurate financial statements
  • Strong Accounting and Finance background required
  • Experience in working with Executive Management and Business Units in identifying critical requirements for local/global operations preferred
  • Analytical skills in understanding the internal financial needs and transforming them into operational requirements
  • Strong Knowledge and experience of contract management required
  • Knowledge and experience of Procurement/supply chain preferred
  • Ability to work well with key business partners across sectors and internal IT teams in a collaborative manner
  • Knowledge and experience using industry standard analytical tools such as MS Excess, Access, etc.
