Job Description



  • Experience in handling full set of accounts
  • Main responsibility to handle full spectrum of accounts payable
  • Ensure accurate and timely processing of invoices/staff claims and payments to creditors/staff and ensure compliance to accounting policies and standard operating procedures
  • Handle all vendor correspondences via phone or email
  • Verify vendor accounts by reconciling monthly statements
  • Cash Management to ensure sufficient funds are maintained at all times and banking matters
  • Collaborate with Business Divisions to develop workflows or identify process improvement opportunities to ensure proper governance.
  • Ensure month end and year end closing activities are completed within deadlines
  • Prepare relevant AP reports for month end and year end closing
  • Prepare any financial reports, analysis or projects as required by management
  • Support budgeting and forecasting exercises
  • Support internal and external audit
  • Coordinate the fixed assets sighting and stock-take exercise


Requirements:
  • Recognised degree in Accountancy or equivalent
  • Minimum 3 years of hands-on working experience in handling full set of accounts
  • Knowledge of SAP accounting system will be an added advantage
  • Conversant in MS Office Applications
  • Positive work attitude, meticulous and able to work under pressure to meet datelines
  • Possess strong analytical skills and have a flair in numbers
  • A team player with good communication and interpersonal skills
