Senior DevOps Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Build next generation Operations and Observability Platform for Digital Technologies
• Responsible for building out & supporting cloud & kubernetes platforms for Dev through to Prod
• Building Self Service Operations, CI/CD pipelines, using GitOps k8s controllers, Ansible
• Cloud Native Monitoring, Log Aggregation and Distributed Tracing Platforms and tooling
• Supporting Production incidents and solution of permanent corrective actions
• Mentoring development squads on Cloud Native Best Practices, configuration & observability

Requirements:

• BSc in Computer Science or related discipline
• Min. 4 years of related work experience in Software development on JVMs, Spring Boot development, DevOps Engineering, Public Cloud, AWS, Kubernetes (EKS, OCP)
• Solid understanding of Linux, Networking & distributed systems
• Observability stack, ELK, Prometheus, Grafana, Jaeger, Open Telemetry, etc
• Experience working in a start-up or another environment with wide range of responsibilities, including L3 production support
• Professional certifications in Java, Linux, Networks, AWS or Kubernetes good to have
• Bonus if you have experience in APM, such as Dynatrace, AppDynamics, Elastic APM, Golang, Python development, ETL, Data Engineering & Analysis, Ansible, Terraform, Hybrid multi-cloud (Azure, GCP), Spring Cloud Ecosystem, API Gateways, Apigee, Kong, JBoss, Tomcat, Redis, PostgreSQL, Envoy, NGINX, HAProxy, GitOps, ArgoCD / Flux and Platform Engineering
