Senior Cloud Engineer (AWS | ITSM/ITL | Shell Scripting | Up to $9000)

Cloud Engineer is responsible for providing high-quality tier 1 technical support and incident management for cloud services. The Operations Engineer L1 will be a part of the team that delivers 24/7 support to the whole-of-government.

Working location: Central

Working hours: Monthly rotating shift, shift pattern: 3/2/2/3 (night shift: WFH)

Responsibilities:

• Respond, acknowledge, resolve and successfully close incidents through conduct problem determination, and work with various internal teams to resolve issues on a timely basis to meet SLA.
• Effectively triage emergent situations, and resolve or escalate incidents in accordance with an SLA
• Participate in system administration duties for cloud-based server infrastructure
• Configure and maintain server auditing and network monitoring tools
• Participate in patching, mass upgrades and other planned maintenance activities.
• Develop and implement performance tuning steps for application, system, and network configurations
• Maintain and expand technical documentation of processes and procedures

Requirements:

• Singaporean only
• At least Diploma/Degree in IT related studies
• Min 3 year experienced with ITSM/ ITL and cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
• Min 3 year experience in one of the followings:
  • Cloud Network Support
  • Cloud Workload Administration & Support
  • Administration of cloud identity and access management (AAD)
  • Cloud automation such as CLI, power shell and shell script
• Possess CSP Associate Professional Certification is an added advantage
• Strong verbal and written communicator, organized and process-minded team member
