JOB SCOPE

Summary of Job Responsibilities

The primary responsibility of the Senior Manager, Business Analyst is to engage with business stakeholders to understand the business, and recommend solutions and processes that meet the defined business requirements.

Job Responsibilities

  • Partners with business stakeholders across multiple departments and geographical locations to understand, analyze, and document business processes and user defined requirements
  • Partners with business and IT stakeholders to set clear requirements to reach goals and milestones
  • Works closely with project managers to ensure business process and requirements are sufficiently and clearly documented to drive successful delivery
  • Leads strategic goal setting discussions to understand high level expectations
  • Defines project scope to include objectives, budget, added value and benefits
  • Facilitates cost and effort estimation sessions with developers, finance, and third-party solution providers
  • Manages and supervises adherence to defined requirements and changes throughout project lifecycle
  • Engages appropriate participants through detailed testing validation and execution
  • Ensures delivery of high quality solutions to the business
  • Performs other related duties as assigned

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Education & Certification

  • Bachelor degree in Information Technology or Business related field, or equivalent required

Experience

  • 8+ years of IT industry experience with a broad range of exposure to various technical environments and business segments
  • 5 to 8 years of relevant business analyst experience
  • Proven experience in process mapping, business requirements gathering, data mapping, and test planning of large complex projects
  • Knowledge of the project management lifecycle and methodologies
  • Experience working with cross functional, and global teams
  • Experience working at/with large global companies, preferably in the gaming or hospitality industries

Competencies

  • Ability to effectively manage/execute multiple work streams concurrently
  • Familiar with ITIL processes, policies and procedures
  • Ability to travel globally as needed
  • Ability to lead and direct technical individuals towards a common unified goal
  • Ability to adapt and work effectively within a rapidly changing and growing environment
