Job Description

  • Establish sales strategy, targets and action plans according to corporate mission and dept. objectives

  • Strategic planning to increase current business or to expand into new markets, product or services by making optimal use of the department's resources

  • Monitor and evaluate sales activities and forecast, and assume responsibility for pricing and delivery, leading to customer satisfaction

  • Monitor and review monthly results against plans and take concrete actions to ensure that plans are met

  • Review and determine appropriate section's structures, management systems and procedures to ensure compatibility with overall dept. business plans

  • Review and revise product pricing structures based on cost analysis, current economic and competitiveness conditions

  • Maintain and improve contract review system and ensure any amendment or changes to a contract or an order are identified, documented and correctly transferred to the functions / sections concerned

  • Perform budgeting and financial forecast including making decisions on major expenditures

  • Gather information about competitors, market trend and customers' movement from market resources

  • Perform benchmarking on competitors' strength and weaknesses

  • Obtain and monitor customers' investment plans

  • Analyze and advise on general economic, political, legal and cultural aspects of current / new geographical territory

  • Visit customers and Overseas Sales Offices to build up rapport, identify potential opportunities and obtain customers' investment plans

  • Continually plan and schedule own activities and those of subordinates so that work is carried out effectively

  • Check and approve all sales or related documents prepared by the subordinates

  • Manage HR related functions for the dept./section

  • Identify and develop successors to ensure smooth continuity of the business

  • Support and motivate members to continually challenge for higher targets

  • Communicate to subordinates on company business situation, plans, changes in policies and practices

  • Participate in company activities and carry out assigned roles in committees


Job Requirements

  • Diploma /Degree holder; or minimum 3 years experience in a similar capacity or minimum 6 years relevant experience in the executive classification

  • Knowledge of auto-insertion, SMT, Micro Electronics process and technology
