Job Description

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Establish a pro-active relationship with mainly Local Accounts
  • Develop a target account list, based on priorities given
  • Cross sell all products (Sea, Air, Truck, Warehousing)
  • Generate and qualify leads for the field sales force of the Group
  • Follow-up sales leads from all sources i.e. from network partners, RO, B/L copies etc
  • Schedule and make appointments for the field sales/operations manager
  • Re-activate “dormant” or in-active accounts
  • Prepare Customer quotations
  • Telemarketing & Win- Back activities for Singapore and South Malaysia
  • Maintain the Management Information System and/or the CRM Customers Relation Management tool
  • Good knowledge on Shipping and Freight Forwarding Industries
  • Good knowledge on Incoterms
  • Any other duty / task assigned by CCO

Requirements:

  • Degree/Diploma in logistics/supply chain management equivalent
  • Familiarity in freights forwarding and standard import and export process
  • Able to work in a fast paced environment and under pressures/deadlines
  • Able to commence work immediately is an added advantage
