Job Description

Sales Engineer


We are currently hiring on behalf of our client, a reputable organisation and would require suitably qualified candidates to send in your applications to us.


Employment Type: Permanent
Working Location: Jurong East

 

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and grow both, existing and new business within the target market sectors
  • Contribute to Company’s long-term growth expectations with strong profitable sales growth within Singapore and ASEAN sales territory.
  • Selling and technical consultancy of Company’s products and solutions
  • Managing and sustaining the sales funnel
  • Development of system solutions with the customer, including all Company’s products and services, as well as the use of third-party products
  • Project management and coordination of key customer projects
  • Monitor, communicate and regularly report on competitor activity within markets and customers
  • Support business planning and help develop long-term strategy and vision for Singapore and ASEAN market
  • Ensure CRM is used, account data regularly updated and sales process documented
  • Coordination of technical support for Distributors
  • Implement and maintain business contracts and purchase agreements for the area as needed
  • Contracts negotiation with customers
  • Initiate, manage and coordinate customer support activities together with Customer Service and Inside Sales team in local and overseas office

Requirements:

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering, Communications Technology, Mechatronics or related studies
  • Minimum 5 years work experience in Solution Selling, Complex Sales, Applications in similar industry (Machinery, Energy, Automation etc)
  • Excellent Project Management skills
  • Excellent communications and social skills, able to develop strong internal rapport with local teams and global organization
  • Motivated and eager to actively drive sales and develop business
  • Proficient in MS Office, Business Reporting and CEM tools
  • Able to work under pressure and meet the tight deadline
  • Willing to travel
