Job Description

Job Duties:

  • Does costing and provide client with quotations
  • Does prepare Bill of Material (BOM) and fills out all pricing on tender documentation if need be
  • Efficient response to any online or telephone queries in a calm and friendly manner
  • Follows up on the quotations to see if a decision has been made
  • Assists with answering the phones 
  • Assists the sales team to deliver new business and targets through effective tendering and bidding across all sectors
  • Maintains a library of current & accurate corporate information for inclusion in bids and (re)tenders
  • Gathers and maintains supporting information for inclusion in bids and (re)tenders to evidence experience, effectiveness and capabilities
  • Prepares and format proposals, agreements, and presentations when necessary
  • Obtains and co-ordinates all resources as necessary to respond to the opportunity
  • Informing clients of unforeseen delays or problems on delivery
     

 

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in IT sales; experience as a sales coordinator or in other administrative positions will be considered a plus
  • Good computer skills (knowledge in MS Office)
  • Proficiency in English
  • Ability to work well in a fastpaced environment
  • A team player with high level of dedication
  • Organized and possess a high level of administration ability to effectively manage paperwork
