Job Description

Job Responsibilities
  • Play a lead role in the technical development of the robotics centre 
  • Market research on robotics manufacturing technologies/products
  • Meet customers to understand their needs, and formulate these into business plans
  • Involve in the setting up of the robotics centre with the opportunity to play a key role in the operations
  • Research on robotics manufacturers to gain knowledge on products, competencies and technologies
  • Conduct market assessment to understand local plans for robotics
  • Identify common manufacturing processes that can be applied across multiple industry sectors
  • Build knowledge on types of platform and software use for robotics manufacturing by OEMs and System Integrators (SI)
  • Gather, consolidate and analyze the data collected and provide reports/briefings
  • Participate in the business planning
  • Support visits by OEMs/SI/customers/officials

Knowledge/ Skills/ Competencies Required (if applicable)
  • Degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Electronics/Mechatronics Engg
  • 5 years' experience in manufacturing environment or in product development with knowledge in manufacturing
  • Knowledge in robotics / factory automation / System Integration will be an advantage
  • Strong in research of information both online and offline
  • Good analytical skill and ability to present information clearly on report
  • Strong in Microsoft Office
  • Basic level of financial understanding and budget management
  • Independent, responsible and mature and work with minimal supervision and ability to network
  • Able to travel overseas including short term posting where required
