A postdoctoral position in mass spectrometry-based proteomics is available immediately at Professor James Tam’s laboratory from the School of Biological Sciences, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore.
Professor Tam was the founding Dean of the School of Biological Sciences. Currently, he is the director of the Synzymes and Natural Products Center (SYNC), which has 15 collaborating faculties and laboratories. His laboratory is well equipped with state-of-the-art instruments for chemical biology.
In synthetic enzymes, SYNC focuses on discovery, characterization and engineering of peptide ligases for chemical biology and precision biomanufacturing of biologics. In natural products, SYNC focuses on drug discovery, synthesis and engineering of orally active peptides from medicinal plants.
Candidates with a strong background and experience in mass spectrometry-based proteomics encouraged to apply.
Applicant must have a PhD degree in Biosciences or related courses. The position requires a highly motivated individual who has both drive and initiatives. The starting salary will commensurate with experience.
